If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform. By creating an account, you confirm that:

You are a medical student, healthcare professional, or educator using the Platform for educational purposes.
All information you provide is accurate and complete.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

3. Description of Service

Rounds provides an AI-powered clinical reasoning trainer that simulates ward-round scenarios. Users can:

Attempt clinical cases across multiple specialties.
Receive AI-generated feedback on their diagnostic reasoning.
Track performance metrics over time.
Participate in case discussions and community features.

The Platform is an educational tool only. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations for real patients.

4. Medical Disclaimer

Rounds is not a substitute for formal medical education, clinical judgement, or professional medical advice. The clinical scenarios, feedback, and teaching points generated by the Platform are for educational simulation purposes only. You must not rely on any output from the Platform when making real clinical decisions. Always follow your institution's protocols and the guidance of qualified supervising clinicians.

5. AI-Generated Content

The Platform uses artificial intelligence models (which may change over time) to generate feedback, scoring, and teaching points. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. You should independently verify any information provided. We make no warranties regarding the completeness or clinical accuracy of AI-generated outputs.

6. User Accounts

You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised access. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in behaviour that compromises the integrity or safety of the Platform.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws.
Attempt to manipulate scoring, leaderboard rankings, or AI feedback.
Post offensive, discriminatory, or inappropriate content in case discussions.
Reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the Platform's systems.
Share your account credentials or allow unauthorised access.

8. Intellectual Property

The Platform, including its design, code, clinical cases, branding, and content, is owned by or licensed to the operators of Rounds. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without prior written consent. You retain ownership of any content you submit (e.g., comments), and grant us a non-exclusive licence to display it on the Platform.

9. Privacy

Your use of the Platform is governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rounds and its operators (the individual or team maintaining the Platform) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform. This includes, but is not limited to, reliance on AI-generated educational content, loss of data, or interruption of service.

11. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The Platform is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time without prior notice.

12. Termination

You may delete your account at any time through the dashboard settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if required by law. Upon termination, your right to access the Platform ceases immediately.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nigeria.
